Headed to Memphis
Caldwell-Pope signed a two-year, $44.38 million deal with the Magic last offseason, which included a team option for 2026-27, but his lone season in Orlando didn't go as planned. The veteran posted his fewest points per game (8.7) and shot 34.2 percent from deep, his lowest since 2015-16. Given his salary, Caldwell-Pope should see considerable playing time next season, but Memphis will likely stay busy this offseason in an effort to rejuvenate a stagnant franchise.

Traded to Memphis
After a breakout sophomore year, Anthony's statistics have decreased across the board in three consecutive campaigns, culminating in career lows in points (9.4), rebounds (3.0), assists (2.0) and minutes (18.4) during the 2024-25 season. He signed a two-year, $26 million extension with the Magic in October of 2023, which included a team option for 2026-27. There's an entire offseason to play out, but Anthony finds himself in a tough competition for backcourt minutes in Memphis with Caldwell-Pope, Scotty Pippen, Vince Williams, and potentially, Luke Kennard.

To be re-evaluated in four months
Edey is expected to make a full recovery after re-spraining his ankle during an offseason workout. The big man is set to be re-evaluated before the start of the 2025-26 regular season, though it wouldn't be surprising if he missed additional time while recovering from the injury. The 23-year-old appeared in 66 regular-season outings (55 starts) during his rookie season, finishing with averages of 9.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 assists while shooting 58.0 percent from the field across 21.5 minutes per game.
