Traded to Orlando
The sharpshooter will join Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner in Orlando after the Magic's first-round playoff loss to the Celtics. Bane delivered another productive season during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 19.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.4 three-pointers and 1.2 steals across 32.0 minutes per game in 69 regular-season appearances for Memphis. A career 41.0 percent shooter from beyond the arc, the 26-year-old is under contract through the 2028-29 campaign and will provide the Magic with much-needed outside shooting after they finished last in three-point percentage last season.

Sees just two minutes
Bitadze saw just a total of 11 minutes in this series, as the Magic relied mostly on Wendell Carter at center. He saw some decent playing time in the regular season, however, posting averages of 7.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.4 blocks and 0.7 steals in 20.4 minutes while shooting 61.1 percent from the field. Bitadze is under contract for two more years and is likely to open the 2025-26 season as Carter's backup.

Scores six points in Game 5
Howard saw his only minutes of the series Tuesday in garbage time. He was used sparingly in the regular season as well, averaging 11.7 minutes across 60 appearances with 4.5 points and 1.2 rebounds on 37.4 percent shooting. He'll be entering his third NBA season in 2025-26, though it's hard to imagine he'll be in the rotation on Opening Night.
