Mojave King was acquired by the Pacers in a 2023 Draft-night trade with the Lakers.
The Indiana Pacers have reacquired their pick in 2026 by moving their pick in 2025 to New Orleans.
In the trade, the Pacers send their No. 23 pick in the 2025 Draft and the draft rights to Mojave King (whom the Pacers acquired during the 2023 NBA Draft) for the Pacers’ own 2026 first-round pick (which the Pelicans had previously acquired).
Pelicans get:
- Mojave King
- 2025 first-round pick (No. 23)
Pacers get:
- 2026 first-round pick (originally acquired by New Orleans via Toronto)
We have re-acquired the rights to our 2026 first-round draft pick from the New Orleans Pelicans (originally conveyed to Toronto as part of the Pascal Siakam trade) in exchange for the 23rd overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and the draft rights to guard Mojave King.

The Pacers acquired King in a 2023 Draft-night trade with the Lakers.
King played for the Indiana Mad Ants in 2023-24, averaging 3.9 points per game. He previously played for NBA G League Ignite and was the 47th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He is a native of New Zealand and spent last season with the New Zealand Breakers, averaging 8.5 ppg and 1.9 rpg in 17 games with the team.
The Pacers’ 2026 pick was sent to the Raptors last season in the deal that took Brandon Ingram from New Orleans to Toronto. Indiana originally traded the pick to the Raptors in the 2024 trade that helped the Pacers acquire All-Star forward Pascal Siakam.
